Architecture & Licensing

An intelligence layer on Claude, with clear licensing boundaries.

Asedra is independent software. It does not provide its own access to Claude. This page explains what Asedra does, what Anthropic provides, and how each kind of work runs under the right Anthropic agreement.

How Asedra works with Anthropic

Two layers, two responsibilities.

ASEDRA PROVIDES

The organisational intelligence layer

Shared skills, agents, workflows, permissions and continuous improvement.

ANTHROPIC PROVIDES

The models and execution services

The underlying AI models and execution services, under each customer's applicable agreement with Anthropic.

Asedra is designed to respect the authentication, usage limits and licensing requirements of the selected Anthropic plan.

Architecture

Individual work and shared automation run separately.

Execution modes

Three modes, each mapped to the right capacity.

Mode What it is Runs on Attributed to
1 · Individual workflows An employee works with Claude through Asedra: prepares, reviews, approves. That employee's authorised Claude account The employee
2 · Scheduled automation for a user A recurring task an employee sets up for their own work, such as a morning brief. That user's authorised account where the plan permits it; otherwise licensed API capacity That user
3 · Shared corporate tasks Work for the organisation: processing a shared inbox, company-wide analysis, background agents. Separately licensed API or Enterprise capacity The organisation and the task owner

For every mode, the specific way work is executed must comply with the provider's terms for the selected plan. Where a plan does not permit a mode, Asedra routes it to licensed API capacity or does not run it.

Built for responsible enterprise automation

The design principles we build to.

These are design principles, validated in the pilot. We will state which are in production as each is proven.

  • ✓Individual task attribution. Every task is tied to the person or owner it runs for.
  • ✓Separation of organisations and corporate data. One customer's data and skills never reach another.
  • ✓Permission management. Access is checked before search and before every action.
  • ✓Execution logs. What ran, for whom, on which capacity, with what result.
  • ✓Compute budget controls. Limits per person, team and task type.
  • ✓Several permitted licensing models. Team seats, API and Enterprise, each used for what it permits.
NOT A COMPUTE FARM

Asedra never pools subscription limits or shares one person's seat across others.

NO RESALE

We do not resell Claude or pay for it on a customer's behalf. Claude is billed by Anthropic to the customer.

A PATH TO ENTERPRISE

As a company's use grows, shared work moves to licensed API capacity and then to an Enterprise agreement with Anthropic.
